PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & SPECS
Malibu Surfboards are divided into two categories: the traditional Noserider/Logger and the Performance/Modern Mal. It’s very difficult to combine the two. If you get it wrong you just end up with a compromise, that is, a board that isn’t stable enough for noseriding and too flat and parallel to turn well.
The Cobra is our Performance Mal, a great board for the experienced Malibu rider who wants to get some nose riding ability and still get that rail to rail “swoop” through the turns.
The Cobra is also well suited for the beginner as it will catch the waves early and give the stability that is so important at this stage of your surfing.
For the experienced short board surfer who is looking for a board for the small or mushy days, you will be able to sneak a few noserides and still find the Cobra very forgiving through the turns, you don’t need to have traditional long boarding technique to surf it well.
